FYI - attachments are removed from all email messages that hit the list,
unless they are text only.  This is so virus, and other malware can not be
passed on the list.  If you have a text version of the attachment, I would
like to see it, or send it to me off line, or post it somewhere, and send a
link to the list.

I finally completed XML Lesson 1 on the iSeries. I am attaching a

I received from IBM XML support team, it is easy to follow.
It is just notes that one of the support team created as they went
through the Lessons.

The biggest problem that I had was due to the Journaling. New iSereis
here and waiting on the Mimics and journaling to be setup later this
week.  I had to do some manual steps to get it to work, if you have
problems with journaling let me know and I can tell you what I had to in
addition to the attached document.

Note: I just copied and pasted her commands to the iSeries and changed
her Schema(her name)to my Schema(my name). You have to change the Dbname
in her "Enable column order" command. (STL400g to your iSeries name)

I'm on to Lesson 2, will update you on any problems that I find.
