You can install CODE seperately from WDSC.  Note that if you left WDSC

on the PC for some reason, you will have to install the old WDSC before
installing CODE.

Thanks.  Are the CODE tools on one of the CD's, not the DVD?  I think what
happened is most people had 5.1.2 when they got 6.0 so they already had
CODE.  Now, as people get new PC's, that's no longer the case.
