I've been using Subclipse lately for SVN...works like a charm...(was my
first attempt at using Subversion). It's pretty easy to setup & use...

Thanks,

I would back Mark on this.
We tried using CVS but gave up and we have been running Subversion on
the
iSeries for the last year and it works brilliantly. Easy to set-up and
easy
to install and use the WDSC plug-in.

We are using WDSCi for our web/client java apps.

Now we want to save our objects in CVS but I alway's get following
error:

Have you considered using Subversion instead of CVS? You can run the
server natively on OS/400 (if that is something you would like). There
is
also a native client for OS/400 that could potentially be useful in
writing scripts that run on OS/400.

The main reason to consider Subversion is just that it is considerably
better than CVS and is being actively developed. It also can use
standard
protocols like http(s).
