This was covered in the archives a while back.  (Actually, it's been 
covered several times).  The default editor settings don't apply in RSE. I 
understand IBM has it on their list of future enhancements.

  I have the members displayed in a Member Filter.
  In the Workbench preferences, I have program codesu.exe as the 
default under file associations for .dspf & .prtf.
  When I double click the member, it still opens in the LPEX editor.
