RSE does not look at the associations at all. More's the pity, IMO. It is hard-coded to the defaults you see. I think it used to show the last item I selected as the default for the next time, but I might be having a dream.

The associations are used by iSeries projects, IIRC, but I've never used them much - too limited for reasons I don't remember - and we use TurnOver now.
