I'd like that, too.
A not-too-bad alternative in the meantime is to put the files you are
working on in the remote scratchpad, and then at least you won't have to
scroll through all the files in your filter to get to the one you want
to switch to.

|I am currently using the table view to display a list of fields from a
|file, and this works fine (other than not being able to arrange the
|fields in the table).  But, I want to load up several files and have
|them available via a quick click or keyboard shortcut.  I was hoping I
|could get several tabs for the various files, but so far I can only get
|one table view open at once.  Is there any way to keep multiple table
|views open at the same time; or alternately, another method of
|displaying the fields in a file that would allow multiple files?
