The setting will be there for all COBOL files, in all current and future edit sessions. If you do want to do it only for the current view, the incantation is

  parserProperty.view.fields 1

This setting will be integrated into WDSC's parsers' "Column sensitive editing" preference in a future release.

Also, in a future LPEX release, the paste action will ignore the editing-fields setting when the pasted text consists of one or more entire line(s) of text (e.g., Alt+L to select a line -> Ctrl+C to copy to the clipboard).

Adrian,

Thanks for the reply. I will try that command when I get to work tomorrow.
Will this command set for the session only, or can it be set once and be
that way each time I open a source in the LPEX editor?

I just really get frustrated when I past into the editor, and the code ends
up in the right column on the first line, and all the rest of the 20 or more
lines of code start in column 1. I then need to be able to shift the code
to the right, and get it where the editor recognizes it as COBOL statements
again.
