1. I think it affects all native iSeries source members.  Next time it
happens, I will check.
2. Auto-syntax checking is enabled for DDS, ILE RPG and RPG/400.
3. Sequence interval is set to 100 and it resequences lines at save.  
4. Next time it happens, I will try turning off auto-save.

When this happens, I can open a source member, press the space bar once
and the arrow up or down and it will bring my entire PC to a
stand-still.  Local CPU usage is maxed but network traffic is
negligible.
