Could not save encoding settings

I am getting this error when trying to open a source file on the iseries
after opening a local file on my PC:

"Message reported from file system: Could not save encoding settings."

I click OK, then a box comes with the title "Error Running Operations"

Inside the box is this text:

"Message reported from file system: Could not save encoding settings.
Problems encountered while updating encoding settings.
 Could not save encoding settings"

The only thing I can do is quit WDSCi and restart.

Is this a known problem?  Anything I can do to correct this?
