I did notice that the outline for DDS _does_ auto-refresh.

So what's the difference?

Violaine,

It would be nice if the outline just refreshed itself like the Java 
class view does in Eclipse.  If it is easier, perhaps it would only 
need to refresh itself after the initial build.  Perhaps it could 
just update itself whenever a new line was added or something in the 
outline was changed, or only after you initially build the 
outline.   Having to manually update the outline by clicking the 
refresh button or having to use a refresh key is kind of a pain since 
the refresh is not a quick running function, so having an option to 
auto update would be great.
