Hi Tom,

The QShell support does require the Remote System Explorer PTF for V5R1.
You can right click on the iSeries Objects subsystem and choose "Verify
Connection..." to see what PTFs you might be missing.

Cheers,

I haven't seen comments on the PDM functions within WDSC Lite. IMO, this is
a _superb_ concept, one that has the potential to grab the attention of
developers who have a hard time shifting into WDSC. Has this been hidden in
the full version somewhere all along? If this is the first try at it, it's
_very_ nicely done!

And a question/problem...

When I try the Qshell functions, I get a Java job on the iSeries that
doesn't go away and it eats a lot of CPU apparently doing nothing. If I use
it the next day, I get a second Java job eating more CPU. (In fact, the
significant CPU drain is what brought attention to it.)

OS/400 V5R1 possibly needs PTFs for this; haven't checked yet.
