I think the Option 60 Workstation Tools are programs and commands on your 
iSeries that your PC based programs like CODE and WDSC use to communicate. 
 Like STRDBGSVR, STRRSESVR and that genre.  Since you already have 5722WDS 
it doesn't cost anything extra.  Put it on.  Might also be a good idea to 
load your last cume and run GO PTF, option 8. Install program temporary 
fix package and tell it NOT to IPL.  (Since you do this midday with no 
impact.)  Then you can do a DSPPTF 5722WDS and see if any are not applied.
