I opened the Data perspective and created a connection to my iSeries, filtering to my personal library, LENNON$S.

The display of the files (tables) in Database Explorer tab looks normal. But when I right click on a file and click ?Generate XML Schema?, it gives up with the error

?INVALID_CHARACTER_ERROR: An invalid or illegal XML character is specified?.

Any idea what this means?

This has happened on all the files I tried it on, including one with just a single field named ?OPCODE?.

The XSD does not show up in the target folder, but if I try to repeat the process it tells me ?The same name already exists?. Right now I?m just experimenting, so I?ll just delete and recreate the folder.

Thanks, Sam
