Hi Duane,

Could you please provide me the following information?

iSeries Version
Language of the program/service program you want to debug
The steps you used to start your debug session (setting Service entry
point, or Debug as ...)
And also please check if the breakpoint you set in the procedure is just a
blue dot, or has a check mark on top of it (looks like it has a little
tail).

Thanks,

WDSC 6.0.1 Build id: 20050725_1800

I am attempting to debug a process with multiple service programs and
underlying procedures. In the previous version of WDSC (5.1...) I could set
breakpoints within the lower lever procedures and click the resume
button/F8
and the process would stop on the break point in the lower level proc. With
WDSC 6.0.1 the break points are ignored, unless I step into the procedure
and then click resume/F8. Is there a "run to next breakpoint" or something
else that I am missing?

It is a real PITA having to step into 4 procedures just to get down to
where
I need to debug the process.

Duane Christen

P.S. The step over button/F6 function is also ignoring breakpoints which is
less of a problem but is still entirely unexpected.
