Just a point, that in LPEX you can edit both sides at the same time. I'm still learning about how to do it, mostly by accident it seems, but you can click on a tab and drag it to the left and voila, you have parallel windows with two source members - both editable - unless you opened one for browse. Works pretty good once I get the windows next to each other.
