Hello,

just installed WDSC 6 from the CD pack. Now I'm trying to get the updates
to 6.0.0.2 mentioned here: http://tinyurl.com/buv9x

I run the IBM Rational Product Updater (version 6.0.0.4), select "IBM
Websphere Development Studio Client..." (currently displayed as 6.0.0),
click on the "Find Updates" button and then at the top of the screen I get
the following:

Invalid update site url for IBM Rational Product Updater 6.0.0.4:
http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/rationalsdp/updater/60/updat
e/site.xml
Invalid update site url for IBM Rational Web Developer:
http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/rationalsdp/rwd/60/update
Invalid update site url for IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client for
iSeries:
http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/websphere/iseries/wdsc600/up
date

I configured the proxy server file (httpProxy.properties )as described in
the help file and created it in the "C:\Program
Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\eclipse\configuration" directory.

In my case the contents are as follows:

enabled=true
host=<webproxy.costco.com>
port=<80>

Although usually our proxy server asks for a user ID and password, I didn't
see any request for it when running the updater.

Was wondering if anyone can help getting the updater to work correctly?

Thanks in advance for any help.

-Paul
