Hi Peter,

i've had the same problem with 5.1.x.
You can try CTL-X todelete those lines.
With version 6 that problem never occurs.
BTW the Version 6 is very stable, has fixed many problems and offers new
features. I do like it.

Kind regards/Mit freundlichen Gru?en

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Delete selection not always working

Hi group,

I've noticed that sometimes it is not possible to delete a selected piece
of text in WDSCi (using Version: 5.1.2.6 Build id: 20051002_2139).

This is the situation when this occurs:

I'm working in an RPGLE free-format program, and my cursor is positioned
at the beginning of the line.

I select with the keyboard: press SHIFT and use the arrow key to go two
lines down.

If the line where my cursor is positioned, is a blank line, pressing the
delete key doesn't do anything. pressing the space key - thus replacing
the selected text with a space - does work, however.

If the line where my cursor is positioned, contains anything, even a
comment, the delete key works as it should.

This behaviour is somewhat annoying, so I wonder whether this also occurs
in V6 of WDSCi, or whether a fix is available from IBM (although I doubt
this, as there are no available updates).

Thanks in advance.
