Dave:

I had a problem with an app I developed under WDSC a while back and needed to
uninstall/reinstall as part of the fix to get it migrated to the WDSC I was
attempting to upgrade to. After some support calls, I was sent what I consider
the _real_ uninstall instructions. Those included a couple of pages of registry
keys, directories, etc., that needed to be removed manually if you really
wanted a clean initial state for WDSC.

And actually, the last instruction was to save the registry and send it to IBM
for further analysis.

I don't know if it's simply problems dealing with Windows registry or IBM's
attempt to leave indications of previous installs. Whatever it is, it's almost
certain that an uninstall won't get rid of everything. I'm not surprised at the
manual stuff you needed to do, not after what I had to go through.
