"I am quite disappointed, though, that not much was done in RSE."

Joe,

I don't know if this was (or wasn't) resolved in a prior release, but my
embedded SQL in rpg now verifies sucessfully. I know this used to be a
problem in prior releases, and maybe somewhere in my preferences I've got
some setting somewhere that bypasses sql statements during verifcation. In
any event I'm happy that my verify works without errors due to sql. (And
besides, as a matter of habit, when I get a clean compile I still run the
program in debug to review the joblog and to validate the results of the
sql statements to ensure they perform as expected.)

Regards, Jerry
