You still can,
      open the Update Manager Perspective, right click on Sites to Visit,
select New -->Site Bookmark and enter the following URL -
www.softlanding.com/free_plugins. Save it and run the Search for updates.

I've never downloaded or worked with any of the plug-ins. Is there 
somewhere I can see what plug-in are available? What they'll do for me and
