I agree with it. I'm signed up over here on the WDSc list, and for
obvious reasons we know that it's better than SEU, otherwise we wouldn't
be on this list now would we? So this question over here is kinda mute.
The interesting point of bringing it up over "there" was the fact that you
got to see some of the barriers towards WDSc from an RPG'ers point of
view. I mean, it's easy to see why I'm on it now, doing Java development.
It's either this or textpad lol, but because I learned how to use WDSc by
coding RPG, when it came time to code Java in WDSc, I just needed a little
shove in the right direction. Personally, I think it's a fantastic tool,
yes big machine requirements, but hell, one doesn't excavate a mine with a
shovel now do they?

RE: [WDSCI-L] RE: Anyone not using WDSC for RPG development

In a message that was disallowed in the RPG forum, I said:

"Talking about WDSC in WDSC isn't going to do a non-WDSC programmer much
good. But talking about why WDSC is as good or better than SEU/PDM for
RPG programming is a really good topic for RPG programmers."

You may agree or disagree with that sentiment. I'll just note that what
was perhaps the most active technical thread we've had in recent months
was rendered virtually extinct, and pose the question: who benefited
from that?

I think the thread should be returned to the RPG programming list.
