   Don,

I started using the softlanding iSeries editing perspective sometime ago,
everything is set to fast view and only the necessary views are opened by
default. I think it is a really a nice perspective for iSeries
programmers as they make the transition from PDM/SEU as it simplifies the
display of WDSCi a little bit.

When using WDSC to compile, the job completing successfully does not
indicate the object was compiled successfully. You need to either look at
the compile listing or the error listing in WDSC.

I like to specify the error listing as "Fast View", which prevents the error
listing from altering my window setup in WDSC.

I get a job completed succesfully message returned on my green-screen that
it did run the compile. Now if I do a
dspobj on the program, the creation information is not updated. What am I
 missing?
