I just started getting the above message when ever I try to expand iSeries objects filter or open a table view to our development system. The commands log adds libraries to the library list, then an error window comes up with the above exception and an 'OK' button. After I click 'OK' then in the RSE branch where the source members should be is a red circle icon with an x and 'Expand failed - try again'. I can expand filters to another system without any problems. I also did a verify connection to the system it fails on. The verify returns just the one PTF that has been needed for a while. As far as I know nothing has changed on that system. Any suggestions?
