Correct, because WAS Express 5.x does NOT support EJB and Portal is all 
written with EJB.

In 6.0 this is all resolved as WAS Express has gained support for EJB.  I 
have not seen an annoucement for a 6.0 Portal Express, but I would assume 
it would run in WAS Express.
