Sarah, My suggestion is get the free plug-in from Softlanding
"http://www.softlanding.com/free_plugins/site.xml";. Install the spool file
plug-in especially. Once the plug-in is installed, right click on the
plug-in entry names "iSeries Spool Files" (in the RSE and the last main item
in the list) and request to have it show in a table. Move / adjust the
table view to your liking and then remember to same the current perspective
so that it shows up again when WDSC starts up again.

When you compile, run commands that output(*print), etc. you can press the
refresh button to see the spool file show up. You are then able to open the
spool file in a text editor. Then you can perform searches within.

You can also add other users spool files to this list and look at them with
in the view. You get all the main spool file control options within a right
click menu.

Here is the archive reference that I got this from

Subject: RE: [WDSCI-L] Getting errors back from CRTICFF

I am using the WDSC "compile..." menu to call the CRTICFF
command on my ICFF source member. But I do not get the errors
back in the iSeries Error List Window. I also do not see any
way on the CRTICFF to generate an event file.

Any ideas on how to get my errors?

Thanks,
Sarah
