Jim, I know of no way in WDSC itself to display the contents of a physical file. But you could set up a user options that'd call the DSPPFM command, which does have a hex capability (F10). You would need to have an interactive session running with the STRRSESVR command for this to work. You would not need to go digging on the green screen this way.

And this idea from one who loves the green screen!  <vbg>
