Not that I'm aware of.

However, have you considered push for the developers to have local admin
rights to their own PCs?

That's how we do it here.  Seems to makes sense for the IT personnel.

Just an FYI but I've heard that _ALL_ Microsoft employees have local admin
rights....which to me explains why so much day to day stuff seems to require
it!!!
