I had problems with this until I realized that our network staff configured

proxy and filtered out.

So if I go to Window -> Preferences -> Internet and see no proxy settings, does that rule out that possibility or does WDSCi get settings from somewhere else? I am the "network staff" here, so I doubt it's a proxy problem (though nothing is impossible!)

An error message somewhere would be nice if it couldn't contact the help server. I didn't see anything.

If I'd taken the DVD home over the weekend, I would have gone for the scrub everthing approach.
