Sean,

I had problems with this until I realized that our network staff configured
all TCP/IP traffic to proxy through the "surf scout". Even though the help
system in WDSCi is accessed via localhost, it was getting forwarded to the
proxy and filtered out.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] help won't load

I just upgraded to 5.1.2 with all patches, but I still can't get the
help system to load. I don't think it's ever worked for me, on two PCs now.

If I click Help then Help Contents, the mouse cursor becomes an
hourglass for a while, a window pops up with "Help - Websphere
Development Studio for iSeries" in the title bar, white background. It
disappears almost instantly.

Any ideas how to fix this? Could there be something in my workspace
corrupting it? Or possibly Java versions or something? Some days I
really want to RTFM, but I can't.

Version 5.1.2.1
Build id: 20040714_1025
