Is Remote search supposed to be available in 5.1.0.3? I can't seem to find
in in my installation either. In RSE, in the IFS, I do see the "Find Files"
option in the context popup, but it just searches the file name, not the
contents of the files.

I checked the Search panel for Remote Search, but nothing like that is
there....

Does anybody else feel like they're loosing ground with this stuff? I find
that it's more difficult every day to recommend this environment to the
programmers here. Features disapper for no reason, random crashes, the huge
memory requirements, source code that doesn't save, verify code doesn't pick
up on changed source code, and so forth.... I still WANT this stuff to
work, I've been hoping that it would all come together, but so far I feel
like SEU is still much more productive than WDSCi. I'd like to believe that
I must be doing something wrong, in light of the testimonials we hear from
Jon Paris and Joe Pluta, where these tools INCREASE programmer productivity,
but so far, it's just become one big ugly frustration after another.....

Sorry for the rant.... :/

Sorry, but I am on 5.1.2 and it is there.

When you click on the Flash light, a search window comes up. In the lower
left
corner of this window, is there a Customize button? If so click on it and
see
if Remote Search is listed there. If so, is it checked or un checked?
