   Chris,

On the top right of the 'iSeries Error List' view there is a drop down
where you can select options for 'Show Severity' and 'Messages'. The
fly-out for 'Messages' you can select 'Insert None', 'Insert Selected
Only', or 'Insert All' -- 'Insert All' is the default *everytime* you
start of WDSc. However, anytime you can select something such as 'Insert
Selected Only'. This will only insert the error on which you double-click
into the source code view. Errors inserted are not saved to the 400 with
the source member. If you choose 'Insert Selected Only', you can also
delete the error message text as you correct each error.

   Chris,

When the source member is active press Ctrl + F5. This should remove all
the extra info, however it will reappear if you double click on another
   error within the list.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] WDSCI Error List question.....

   Hi all...

I have a question regarding the error list that's created when compiling
an RPG program. If I double click on one of the errors it takes me to
where the error is, but it also brings up tons on error and info text
also. Once I've fixed the error is there a way to get rid of all the extra
text without closing and reopening the member? I'd appreciate the
   enlightenment.

   Thanks

   Chris
