Jeff, there's a migration document you should look at - could be on the CD, or there is usually a reference to it in the readme. This gives you good info on what to remove. I don't remember whether it goes back beyond version 4, however.

WDT400 is WebSphere Developement Tools, the predecessor to WDSC.

I like to go into the registry and remove any references to WDT - this may be more than necessary, and don't do this if you are nervous about mucking about the registry. Otherwise, go Start->Run and enter regedit. Search for WDT everywhere and delete away. BE CAREFUL!

I've been subscribed to the WDSC list for almost a year, but without having
the software on my PC most of what I read made little sense. (I admit, for
the past few months I have been deleting the listserv messages without even
opening them! ;-O )

Anyway, now I get to install WDSC on my machine, and need to know if I need
to un-install any of the following from my PC:

                        IBM Distributed Debugger
                        IBM WebSphere Studio Pro v3.5.3

I currently have CODE/400 on my PC. Any other programs/objects that need to
be un-installed? There are some IBM WDT400# entries that look suspect -- I
have a folder on my C: drive called WDT400 and it contains what appear to be
CODE/400 programs and objects. But then, we also have Rumba (yuk!) and I
wonder if these IBM WDT400# entries might be related to Rumba Sessions.
Also, there is an entry IBM WDT400 V5R1M0 -- looks rather intimidating.

Any help you can give would be appreciated! Thx!
/jam
