I think the jar that was in org.eclipse.ui is now in
org.eclipse.ui.workbench,

But im only just getting into this plugin stuff myself, so im not exactly
sure what things this would affect,
But I would imagine that any references to org.eclipse.ui would have to be
updated.

Does PDE handle this all automagically?

Maybe you have to modify the build path of the project to include the jar on
the classpath?

Hm, I wish I knew :-)

In Eric Simpsons article the generated plugin.xml has a <requires> section 
that contains three lines:
- org.eclipse.core.runtime
- org.eclipse.core.resources
- org.eclipse.ui
According to the article you have to add com.ibm.lpex. In 5.1. the 
generated plugin.xml misses the org.eclipes.core.runtime; I assume the 
wizard knows what it is doing. Anyway, I tried adding 
org.eclipse.ui.workbench, but the result stays the same.
