Better late than never...

I'd like to toss $.02 over the transom and onto the fire here, while I'm
mixing metaphors, relative to the ctrl-space "lockup".

On a number of occasions, I've experienced the same symptom, and have gotten
used to taking a minute to go get a cup of coffee when it occurs.  Without
knowing (or particularly caring) about the specifics, I tend to write it off
to a garbage collection process or some underlying "hard work" on the part
of the Java code.

Not to say that I haven't canceled out of it a time or two, but I've never
been convinced it was a lockup.  And it's been a long while since I took the
moderately extreme approach of canceling the program,

I am assuming you are talking about the problem you have with verifying?
This should not affect the content (code) assist function so can you
provide Dave with some more details on this?
