You are probably running Win2K or XP and do not have authority to that
directory. If you can login with Admin rights to your workstation you can
probably install it.

Also, I seem to recall that the Install/Update process had a button you
could push to install to a new location. I have never tried doing it, but
you could try doing that. However, I suspect that it will still require
authority to the main installation folders.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] SoftLanding Spool File Plugin

I just attempted to install the free spool file plug-in from SoftLanding
in my copy of WDSCi 5.0. I get an error message on when I click finish
on the final install screen - it says:

You can not install in the site "file: C:/Program Files/IBM/Websphere
Studio/eclipse/". It is considered non-updatable.

I couldn't find anything in the archives relating to this. I am running
XP Pro and I am an administrator of the machine. Does anyone have any
ideas what is happening? Mark?
