To tell the truth neither one of us remember what specific task was when it
happened. I know, not much help. I will definitely make note next time it
happens.

The previous response from Aaron Bartell worked on my associates PC by
deleting javaw.exe. The .lock file dissappeared and he was able to restart
RSE.
