This tip actually applies to any tree or table in WDSC, but it is 
especially useful in RSE where you might have filters that contain large 
lists of objects or members.  If you click on an expanded RSE filter, or 
within an RSE table and you then start typing it will position the list to 
the name of the item you are typing.  As long as you type at a resonably 
steady rate you can type all 10 characters if you want. 

This might be a pretty obvious tip to some of you since it is really the 
underlying Windows controls that provide the feature, but not all apps use 
the standard Windows controls and sometimes you forget that you can do 
these simple things.

I have to say that it is a lot nicer than scrolling a list of 5000 
programs.
