That would be a setting in the Internet Explorer, to show JavaScript errors
when they happen.  Look in Internet Options - Advanced for the setting to
Display Notifications for Script errors.  You probably will also see a
little yellow 'warning' icon in the bottom left hand corner of the browser.

The JavaScript error exists in the HTML page.  One browser is reporting it
to you, the other is not.  That is what is occuring here.

The webfacing generated html pages are loaded with JavaScript and JS files.
