I see.  If there is no API to fetch that out of WAS (perhaps dipping into an
XML file?) then perhaps that becomes a parameter on the command.  With a
V4/V5 parameter, the command could present the extra parameter when needed.
I am just thinking out loud here, having no way to test it.

Rather than deploy as a WAR/EAR, deploy as a file system and point to an
IFS-mapped drive on the PC.  It's tedious but simple to select the
individual programs that were changed and export only those individuals.
The 'deploy as file system' option essentially exports an already expanded
version of the stuff that would be packed up in the WAR file.  I personally
did it this two-step way so I could verify what was coming out of WF, and
where it would end up in WAS, but it might be possible to export directly
into the WAS directory tree: I didn't try it and don't have WAS running any
more.
