Hi Kevin,

Basically, this means that your development machine needs to have an IP
address
that the iSeries box can see - does not have to be the same network.

If that is the same IP address as ipconfig command on your PC will show,
then debugger
should be able to detect it and start without any problems. If that is not
the case, we allow
you to overwrite that IP address either in Launch Configuration dialog, or
in the preference
page (Debug -> iSeries Debug).

We realize that this is a problem in some cases, and are looking at
alternatives for the next
release of WDSC.

Hope this helps,
Vadim

I am getting the following when attempting to start a debug session:
State: <waiting for engine> Connection: local (disconnected)

I am assuming that this is related to the issue of debug wanting the IP
address of my machine.
Our I-Series is outsourced and we work on a separate network from our
outsourcer. All communication is run through routers that NAT our addresses
to theirs and vice versa.
Does this mean we need to set up our development machines to be natted?
