CODE macro

Hi, 

I am am new to this list and have a question.

I have used CODE editor for awhile now but have never written a macro for it.  
We are begining to use free format C specs and I would like to write a macro 
that moves a selected block of text 2 spaces to the right.  I have tried using 
the BLOCK SHIFT 2 command but I get the error that BLOCK SHIFT does not work on 
character blocks.  Could someone please tell me how I could do this.
