"the Associated Library portion of iSeries Projects is nearly useless".

most good organized sources (if not all?) use multiple libraries.


- indeed a library for your project 
- a general tools lib
- you might want to try things like RPGIVTOOLS  
(or do you copy every source you want to use to every project ?)  
- you never use QSYSINC ? (it's ment for "SYS"-tem - "INC"-ludes', no?) 
- some devellopment teams might even use a seperate sourcelib for their
prototype /COPYs
