There is very little "in transition". We are adding new stuff next release,
and we will maybe tweak an
algorithm here or there as users like Jon lobby us, but it is definitely
not the case that things "will look
significantly different". Nobody should delay using/learning V5.0 out of
fear that what they learn
will not apply in the next release. The route is set, and not changing.

That was sort of the point.... It's hard to focus on the destination (of
becoming productive in the new tools) when the route keeps changing.  I
need
to work with V5, though, before I say too much.... <g>

Well you're learning WDSc and much of that is in "transition" <grin> or at
least I hope to goodness it is because there are so many buried "gothchas"
with regard to caching, connected/no connected, synchronization of iSeries
projects, etc. etc. that I cannot believe the next release won't look
significantly different.
