The lpex editor will not perform any syntax checking. I have checked the
settings 5 and 6 times. I have compared mine to that of my boss's settings.
We both have the same settings but mine will not perform syntax checking nor
does it use the color code scheme.

It seems as if it does not realize the file is an RPGLE type. I have tried it
on an SQLRPGLE file as well and notta!

I have noticed that I get the message:
Class "com.ibm.etools.iseries.editor.ISeriesEditorILEParser" not found.

WHY NOT? I didn't do anything with it! :-) At least not on purpose anyway.

Can someone tell me of a reason why this might be? Could loading another
plugin have deleted this? I have looked for it and I can not find it at all.
