<sigh> here we go again..  

I'm one hour and forty five minutes into the installation procedure, and
my machine appears to be stopped on Disk 4. It's been sitting here for
40 minutes now, with no activity in the hard drive or CD-ROM. Task
manager show's nothing using the CPU except the System Idle Process. In
short, it's not doing a darn thing. I don't believe that there are any
hidden dialog boxes waiting for a reply, although I can't be certain
because I'm unable to move the Installation Launcher splash screen.

The machine is a P4-2GHz running XP Pro. WDSC 4 was uninstalled before
attempting to install the new version.

IBM, is this normal? Or is it time to start over?
