Claus,

> The WDSc package also contains a CD with DB2 for Windows.

Is it necessary? I tried to create a new connection and it hangs at "Loading
JDBC meta data".

I put:
Database: my current library
Userid: my as400 userid
Password: my as400 pwd
Database vendor type: DB2 UDB for iSeries, V4R5
JDBC driver: IBM DB2 AS/400 NET DRIVER
Host: url to my as400
Server name: grayed out and blank
JDBC driver class: grayed out, but contains com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver
Class location:
C:\WDSC\WSSD\plugins\com.ibm.etools.iseries.toolbox\runtime\jt400.jar
Connection URL: grayed out, but contains jdbc:as400://url to my as400

When I click Finish, it gets as far as "Loading JDBC metadata" and goes no
further. I have to end the process in task mgr.
