No you don't ... but we do include DB2 for Windows in your
WDSC CD pack in case you want to use it for the samples.

When creating a connection to DB2/400 be sure to use the
Filter... button to filter by the specific schema (lib)
and maybe tables (files) you want to work with, else it
will take a few hours.

Also, the location of the toolbox's jar file (which has the
jdbc classes for db2400) is in the
plugins\com.ibm.etools.iseries.toolbox folder where you
installed WDSC.
