Patrick,

Select the project, then right click on the project and select "Refresh
>From Local" from the popup menu.

This message means that somehow the resources on the filesystem have gotten
out of sync with the one the workspace knows about. Typically this occurs
when a resource is modified outside of the workbench but can occur in some
other situations also.

I want to delete an imported jar-file from my project but I alway's get an
error message "resource is out of sync".

How can I get rid of it? (have 3 such files already)
