Re: SYSTEM21 warehouse location

Hi guys,

We use the location module, but on are base not style.
We are on Aurora 2.2.
I'm not sure if it works with the manufactuting module as our companies
that use manufacturing are not using the location module. The companies
using the location module have no problems and you can set up as many
locations as you need.
Our locations are like A23B where A= aisle, 23 is rack#, and B is rack
level.
Item/stockroom enquiry has a key F15 to look at stock by locations.
Every inventory transaction must have an existing location specified.

Here is an example of the location screen. We also use lot control &
secondary uom(RL).
Location Lot (RL) Physical (MT) Frozen (MT) Allocated
(MT)
B27A 9970/B 7 303.500 .000

I dont know a lot about the location module, but I think it was only
available on a old release and was not working with the Manufacturing
applications either. I could be wrong about that though.

Hi guys

Does anyone use location module (version for style)? warehousing
module is too complicated as we are having to maintain pack types,
rules etc. And inventory module only gives us 2 locations with one
stock figure which is too simple.

Would be really good to see how the location module works.

Yes, System/21 does handle warehouse locations . Although, it depends

on the modules you have purchased if you can utilize it. System/21
has a Warehouse Module and there was also a Location module that was
written at one point. The location module is a scalled back version
of the warehousing module.
Did your organitation purchase either of these?

Hi all,
I am new in this forum & new in System 21.
Would like to ask if system 21 can handle the warehouse location or

not.

Currently the stock location is only up until store room (or
warehouse)

level, does not have the warehouse location like row number, aile
number, shelf number.
