Does anyone know how to access a PC file from the AS/400 that has spaces
in the file name or folder name?

We put notes into a home grown project system on the 400 that includes
links to various documents containing documentation or other info. For
example if I put file://C:/data/libsiz.xls <file:///C:\data\libsiz.xls>
into the project notes when I double click this on my AS/400 screen it
opens the spreadsheet and works great. However this does not work when
there are spaces in the folder or file name.

On the PC you use brackets like <file://C:/data/my libsiz.xls
<file:///C:\data\my%20%20%20libsiz.xls> > and it works great. I use
this in my Outlook calendar with reminders for weekly or monthly
recurring stuff and in my Outlook tasks where I need to use a Word
document or spreadsheet. However, this does not work on the 400 and I
can't find any info on it.

Thanks for your help.
